On Sunday my husband Ed and I went to the Copper Pig Brewery for breakfast. I have talked to him about wanting to make a beer soap with one of their beers. As I was sitting there looking at the list of what they have on tap I knew I would be back later for a quart of their Ice Jam Lager. So after breakfast and getting ready to go to the store I knew I would first go back to the brewery and make a purchase. After paying to the beer I asked one of the owners if it was ok to use the name Ice Jam Lager and he said yes. When I got to the store I knew I had to let it sit uncovered for 24 hours letting it just sit. Monday I started the batch of soap. I know I wanted it to be blue with white ice on the top with some blue areas showing the water coming breaking up the ice. After the batch of soap was in the molds I took a picture so I would remember what I did. I could not wait to cut it and see how it turned out. That's what I did today. I can tell you I love it. Now it will sit on my curing shelves for 4-6 weeks to cure.
