A I am sitting here pondering....

As I am sitting here by the window in the store I am looking back at Small Business Saturday.   Looking back at what transpired last Saturday I am reminded of why I wanted to open the store.  People were coming in saying how nice it smelled as they opened the door.  I even had one customer what the orange scent he was smelling was coming from.  Me being honest I had to say I dd not know what he was smelling as I could not smell it.   We did do some exploring together and found it was the Orange Shower Steamers.

Others would comment that they were happy to have a place to buy products without the harsh chemicals.  Some came in just to have a look around.   I have a small whiteboard behind the checkout corner where I write suggestions from the customers.  The whiteboard filled up by the end of the day.  My whiteboard grew overnight as I had a larger one at home.

I hope customers come in and buy products to pamper themselves or give the products as gifts so the recipient can pamper themselves.

This week I will be making the list into the order in which I would like to complete them.  The month of December will be an exciting month.  Our town holds Ole Time Christmas this Thursday, December 4th.  There will be lots of vendors in towns and stores will be open.  The Annex is the store next to me and this will be my first year not set up in there store.   Ann and Ashely have shirts, books, mugs, tea, drink mixers, etc. where you can pick up come Christmas gifts or just pamper yourself.  Annie's Vintage Brew will be set up outside at the Welcome Center with her delicious coffee and hot chocolate.

I love when our small town gets together to support one another.
